GigE Vision design using an Altera Agilex 3 device.
This board was designed to integrate onto the back of an off-the-shelf IR camera, converting native camera data into a standards-based Ethernet vision interface.

- GigE Vision image stream output over Ethernet
- GigE Vision GenICam control for configuration and operation in standard vision software
- Serial communication for camera and system control paths
- Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power the attached camera over the same cable
The result is a compact rear-mounted interface that lets a legacy or specialty IR camera participate in modern GigE Vision ecosystems without a full camera redesign — with data, control, and camera power on a single Ethernet link.
